Globetronics was started off by 2 ambitious entrepreneurs back in 1991 in a humble 20,000 square feet rented facility. The initial paid up capital of the company back then was RM 3 million and its start up business was providing burn in services to a multinational company. Today, Globetronics has grown to become a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with eight subsidiaries and one associated company with a paid up capital of more than RM180 million and manufacturing facilities in multiple sites across Malaysia. Globetronics was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE 7022 GTRONIC) on 3 November 1997.

Experience Requirements

Position Title : IT Application Engineer
Job Skills :
- Experience with databases, database querying (SQL), and data modeling.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms and software design.· Experience programming in three or more of C#, Java, JavaScript, VB, VB.net, ASP, ASP.net or PHP.
- Experience working with web application development, client application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine integration, information retrieval, networking, developing large software systems, or security software development.
- Familiarity with application-level data storage, retrieval, and analysis tools and concepts such as SQL, NoSQL and log analysis.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, FTP and other RFCs and specifications, with an understanding of network, systems, and related troubleshooting.
- Understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing), web technologies.
- Communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree
Position Level : Senior Executive

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and support on existing system and also future system development.

- Ability to cover after-office hours and weekend support if there are any computer hardware, software and infrastructure issues.

- Develop scripts to automate routine tasks.

- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution to effectively solve problems.

- Design, develop, and support front/backend systems, Client application, Web services, APIs, databases for the personalization platform effort.

Job Minimum qualifications:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with full stack software engineering.

- Experience in Software Development and coding in a general-purpose programming language.

- Experience with the following: HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.net, C#, Java, JavaScript, VB.net, PHP or similar language.

- Experience in owning and advocating for customer issues/needs.

- Strong self-learning

Job Preferred qualifications:
