Experience Requirements

  • Position Title : Assistant Marketing Manager / Marketing Manager (Based in Shah Alam)
  • Job Skills : 1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Linguistics/Languages, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mass Communications, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent. 2. Preferably experienced in Power Tool industries. 3. Knowledge in Digital Marketing will be an added advantage. 4. Effective communication skills with the ability to work independently with all levels of management. 5. Experience working with major social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter and other popular social media). 6. Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database management, email and advertising. 7. Ability to work with team members. 8. Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin 9. Possess own transport.

Job Responsibilities

    • 1. Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
    • 2. Interacting with customers via the company’s social media accounts
    • 3. Monitor social media traffic metrics, follow online conversations on a company’s social media accounts and solve customer concerns using social media platforms
    • 4. Analysing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
    • 5. Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
    • 6. Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
    • 7. Create and implement marketing campaigns that meet overall organizational goals, budget and KPI objectives 
    • 8. Assessing strategic partnership opportunities for marketing initiatives 
    • 9. Responsible for product order planning, delivery within agreed budgets and timelines 
    • 10. Analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts. Regular review and improvement of marketing programs and evaluate the viability of new ones 
    • 11. Regularly communicate upcoming initiatives or opportunities to ensure engagement with all stakeholders and provide support to achieve delivery of the overall marketing strategy 
    • 12. Responsible for the management of various communication channels and social media platforms to ensure all marketing content and campaign communications are executed timely
    • 13. Maintain awareness of competitor activity and campaigns.
    • 14. Manage relationships with partners, agencies, suppliers, community stakeholders and other relevant stakeholders
    • 15. Administrative and any other responsibilities as may reasonably be required from time to time 
    • 16. Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
    • 17. Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence.
    • 18. Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
    • 19. Ensure implementation of promotions and events for various products are effective.
    • 20. Responsible for execution of marketing program and able to work closely with the sales team to develop customized trade marketing activities.
    • 21. Ability to strategize business plans and monitor trade marketing activities.
    • 22. Develop annual Marketing & Brand plan of various brands based on analysis of market, trade and consumer needs, and company resources and capabilities.
    • 23. To manage and execute brands’ planning and A & P budget
    • 24. Build rapport with dealers and distributors.
