Experience Requirements

  • Job Skills :

    - Able to multi-task efficiently.

    - Strong communication skills.

    - Excellent organizational skills.

    - Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.

    - Ability to use common kitchen equipment and appliances safely.

    - Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Education Level : Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level
  • Position Level : Non Executive

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure that all work is carried out as per the contract and client specification.

2. Check that all kitchen tools and equipment are in working order and inform any malfunctioning to the chief cook immediately.

3. Ensure adequate operating knowledge of various kitchen tools and equipment.

4. Check cleanliness and pottering of the service area and equipment.

5. Clear, wash and service all table and eating utensils,

6. Assist in movement and storage of raw materials and equipment, as necessary.

7. Assist the cook in preparation of food items for cooking.

8. Cooperate with superiors for receiving training for upgrading know-how and skills.

9. Perform any other task assigned by his superior within the scope of the job.

10. Develop and maintain good working relationship with the client through pleasant attitude and manners.

11. Always maintain a professional and pleasant working relationship with all his superiors and peers.

12. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the Quality, Healthy, Safety and Environment management system.

13. Ensure that all accidents, fire, loss, theft, and damages are reported to superiors, immediately and proper procedures are followed. In addition, where appropriate, take remedial action.

14. Adhere to the QHSE rules and regulations of client.

15. Use correct PPE and maintain them in good condition.

16. Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all equipment.

17. Ensure the cleanliness, 5S of working area are always practiced and complied with food safety requirement.

18. To be always adhere and following personal hygiene standard while on duty.

19. Other duties as reasonably requested from time to time.
