The Ocean Export Customer Service will be based in Petaling Jaya,
The Role:
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• To prepare several documents for international transportation
• Manage and negotiate rates with contracted vendors in procuring spaces and services
• To ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• To ensure accurate data entry into the operating system
• Cooperate with customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
• To comply to regulations which includes internal policies and procedures such as OPS and external government regulations or customer policies / requirements
• Understand department process flow, continually looking for areas of improved efficiency.
• To ensure all customers SOP are followed as per Customer SOP
• To work with the team on meeting KPI standards, as per the company’s procedure.
• To monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction and overseas communication.
• Help Supervisor for daily review Stat 1 and operational reports and work with team on updating event codes.
• To audit files and work with team on meeting OPS
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
• Assess vendors at defined intervals per company policy, focusing possible improvement with corrective action plans where needed.
