- Fulfill the vendor selection criteria to achieve the most cost effective material, required lead time, quantity price as per customer forecast or requested quantity, best term, best minimum order quantity and fulfills the customer basic requirement.
- Ensure the purchase price is the current market price and within the budgeted cost.
- Achieve the targeted cost
saving amount sets by the management.
- Negotiate the contract price and rebate scheme if any.
- Turn Purchase Requisition into Purchase Order and follow up on the approval status.
