Experience Requirements

Job Skills :
1. Minimum SPM, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in any field or technical field is preferred.
2. At least 1 year working in sourcing, purchasing, technical knowledge is preferred.
3. Good command of written and verbal English and converse well in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Strong computer application skills in MS Office i.e. Excel and Word.
5. Resourceful, possess good negotiation skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude, strong analytical/structural skills.
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree
Position Level : Junior Executive

Job Responsibilities

JOB OBJECTIVE

To source and negotiate the most cost-effective materials, required lead time, quantity price as per customer forecast or requested quantity, best term, best minimum order quantity and fulfills the customer basic requirement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Handle requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.

2. Ensure the quoted material or labor conforms to the requirement.

3. Fulfill the vendor selection criteria to achieve the most cost-effective materials, required lead time, quantity price as per customer forecast or requested quantity, best term, best minimum order quantity and fulfills the customer basic requirement.

4. Ensure the price is the current market price.

5. Achieve the targeted cost savings amount sets by the management.

6. Negotiate the contract price and rebate scheme if any.

7. Negotiates with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and targeted cost.

8. Develop and ensure the vendor fulfill Pentamaster standard documentation requirement.

9. Handling the Approved Vendor List documentation.

10. Executes contract negotiation and development in coordination with Sourcing Leader.

11. Identifies opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiency.

12. Fulfill the audit requirements.

13. Job to be assigned by superior from time to time.
