It all began in September 1996. Kenny and Eunice rented a 300 s.f. shop floor in Bayan Lepas, Penang, offering calibration service in Penang for the engineering and semiconductor industries. Their strategy was to listen and solve customers’ issues by offering exceptional calibration service in Penang.
Fast forward to 2023, Metcal Technologies today is the household calibration company in Selangor, Penang, Melaka, Johor and Sarawak. With over 100 staff, at a combined 29,000 s.f. calibration facilities in Malaysia. We are also proud to be awarded several ISO accreditations as a testament to our quality of service.
We provide the skill sets and scheduling flexibility necessary to supplement and support the annual testing of your instrument and equipment. Not only do we test equipment, but we also offer emergency overnight repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and regular servicing. In addition, our company provides a turnkey solution for outsourcing laboratory and medical device experiments. Our outsourcing service is ideal for customers who regularly require laboratory tests for medical equipment.
Apart from that, we can also assist you in getting your new equipment and/or software installed and operational as quickly and correctly as possible, while also ensuring that your staff is capable of and comfortable using it. Our installation services are designed to reduce downtime and get your new equipment up and running as soon as possible. Installation training can take place at your location, a separate location, or at our training facility in Penang or Shah Alam.
