• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 1-2 years of career experience in Engineering
• Proficiency in programming (C#, python, SignalR, MVC), SQL, relational databases, software development and systems)
• Familiarity with drone flight control systems and autopilots (Pixhawk, Ardupilot, Multirotors, VTOLs)
• Experience with drone simulation and modelling tools (ROS, Gazebo)
• Familiarity with CAD software for 3D modeling and design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• To develop drone systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
• Create detailed drone specifications, including hardware and software components.
• Participate in the selection and integration of sensors, cameras, propulsion systems, and communication modules.
• Build and test prototype drones to validate design concepts and performance parameters
• Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure drone functionality, reliability, and safety.
• Develop and maintain drone control software, including flight algorithms, autonomous navigation, and data processing.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate advanced features such as computer vision, machine learning, and remote sensing.
• Stay up-to-date with aviation regulations and ensure that drones meet all legal requirements and safety standards.
• Prepare documentation and reports for regulatory authorities as needed.
• Provide technical support for field operations and maintenance of drones.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in drone engineering.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to explore new opportunities for technological advancement.
